COVID-19 - Alternatives to service learning, work integrated learning, practicals, internships and related requirements for assessment and professional registration by professional boards.
The CHE has been closely monitoring the impact of the COVID 19 crisis nationally, and more particularly on the higher education and training sector, and has kept abreast of developments at individual universities and institutions, and sector-wide, especially insofar as they impact on the quality of educational provision.

Every website with a domain name that ends in .za has to link to the government's Covid-19 portal at sacoronavirus.co.za. The link must be visible’, and must be on the front page of the website, according to regulations gazetted by Communications Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams. The site, formally known as the Covid-19 South African Online Portal, contains information about the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the disease it causes, plus statistics on its spread in SA and related government press releases.
